President Emomali Rahmon held a Meeting of the Government of Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 27.11.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon presided over the session of the government of Tajikistan.
The meeting began with a report by the Director of the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Gulnora Hasanzoda titled «On Tajikistan’s National Strategies for the Development of Statistics (NSDS) for the Period Up to 2030″ and the Program of State Statistics Works for 2020.»
A draft decree “On Tajikistan’s National Strategies for the Development of Statistics (NSDS) until 2030″ is the third multi-year program of the bodies of state statistics provided to strengthen the national statistical system, to improve official statistics and their compatibility with international standards, to ensure full coverage of business entities, to track progress towards Tajikistan’s National Strategies for the Development of Statistics (NSDS) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and to improve statistical activities through interagency collaboration, and to establish a unified information system.
Government members discussed the bills which were submitted to the Assembly of Representatives for consideration, including the draft laws “On Public Services,» as well as “On Amendments and Additions to the Code of the Republic of Tajikistan on Administrative Economic Offenses,” “On Amendments and Additions to the Tax Code of the Republic of Tajikistan,» “On Mortgage,» “On the Inspection of Activities of Economic Entities» and «On State Regulation of Pricing» and “On State Regulation of Prices.»
Government members also discussed issues relating to legal education and training programs for 2020-2030, rules for the organization of service for passengers of international airlines in Tajikistan and the definition of an authorized state body in the sphere of regulation of the licensing system.
President Emomali Rahmon called for the timely fulfillment of the set tasks and instructed members of the government, government agencies and executive bodies of the state authority of cities and districts regarding the preparation work for the winter heating season.
