Khatlon Region Continues to Take Measures for Coronavirus Prevention and Spread
BOKHTAR, 03.04.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The staff meeting of Khatlon Region on the promotion of outreach to prevent coronavirus was held yesterday led by Chairman Kurbon Hakimzoda.
Leaders of various regional organizations attended the meeting, where discussed preventive measures to prevent coronavirus emergence and spread.
The meeting also focused on the issues relating to regular sanitary and epidemiological events in crowded places, preschool institutions, secondary schools, shops, shopping centers, markets, and catering establishments.
It was noted that equipment of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense, the Fire Service, as well as municipal equipment for disinfection of streets, parks and squares 2 times a week will be involved in order to ensure sanitary and epidemiological standards.
Officials were instructed to control and restrain prices for food products in provincial markets.
Additionally, committees for religious affairs, regulation of national traditions, celebrations and ceremonies, for women and family affairs, for youth affairs and sports need to conduct explanatory works in provincial mahallas and districts.
