PM Rasulzoda Inspects the Process of Shore Protection in the Kulob
DUSHANBE, 01.05.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda and the Chairman of the Khatlon Province Kurbon Hakimzoda inspected the process of shore protection work, activities of farms and work in the homesteads of Kulob residents on April 28 and April 29.
Officials of the State Administration of Land Reclamation and Irrigation of Kulob reported that in 2019 and in the beginning of 2020, earthworks have been carried out to prevent damages from natural disasters in Kulob’s 8th microdistrict.
Rasulzoda also visited the area of the Ziraki beam and the Yakhsu River. According to the State Administration of Land Reclamation and Irrigation of Kulob, earthworks have also been completed near the airport and the Mintut area.
Rasulzoda also examined the farms and the homesteads of residents of the rural communities of Ziraki and Kulob.
While on his trip, Rasulzoda met with the local farmers and emphasized the importance of reserving food products, especially in the current situation with consequential shortages, which causes concern for the world community.
Useful recommendations were given on the implementation of doctors’ recommendations, the prevention of infectious diseases, the consumption of domestic products, as well as on increasing the volume of agricultural production.
