URGENT: Number of COVID-19 Cases in Tajikistan Increases by 63
DUSHANBE, 05.05.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – There are 63 new COVID-19 cases in Tajikistan as of today, bringing the total number to 293. The number of those who could not recover has reached five people, reports the Tajik Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population.
The first 15 COVID-19 cases were confirmed on April 30, at which time there were 10 cases in Sughd and five cases in Dushanbe.
The government and the Health Ministry are taking all the necessary measures to prevent its spread and treat the infected individuals.
