Republican COVID-19 Commission Focuses on Price of Medications
DUSHANBE, 08.05.2020. (NIAT Khovar) — Yesterday, Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda held a meeting of the Republican Commission for the prevention of COVID-19.
The meeting focused on the issues relating to the price regulation of medications in pharmacies, prevention of illicit trafficking of medications and other medical supplies, regular monitoring by relevant agencies in this area, mandatory use of masks, self quarantine, and creation of necessary conditions in hospitals.
“In view of the growing number of COVID-19 cases in the world and in Tajikistan, the commission has come to the decision that it is necessary to strengthen the explanatory work and the observance of personal hygiene and recommendations of specialists,” said Rasulzoda.
“Despite the fact that there is an opportunity to treat patients, residents should not believe false rumors, refrain from using various arbitrary drugs, and in case of symptoms should call specialists,” stated Rasulzoda.
