URGENT: Total COVID-19 Cases Exceeds 800
DUSHANBE, 13.05.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – There are 72 new COVID-19 cases in Tajikistan as of today, bringing the total number to 801. The number of those who could not recover remains unchanged at 23 people, reports the Tajik Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population.
As of May 13, 4,148 people have been under medical supervision and 547 people have been discharged over the past 24 hours.
The Tajik government and the Ministry of Health are taking all the necessary measures to prevent the spread of the virus and treat those that have been infected.
The Health Ministry urges all the country’s residents to strictly follow the rules of personal hygiene, wear protective masks, keep a distance of at least 1.5 meters between one another, and in case of onset of symptoms to immediately consult a family doctor or call the hotlines (311 or 511) to consult with a specialist.
