President Emomali Rahmon Had a Telephone Conversation with the Chairmen of Sughd Province, Number of Cities and Districts
DUSHANBE, 14.05.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the Governor of Sughd and the chairmen of Kulob, Norak, Vakhsh, Fayzobod, Nurobod, Rasht and Laksh districts.
The talk focused on the measures taken to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
President Rahmon gave specific instructions to the officials on targeted assistance, providing hospitals with requisite medical supplies, medications and food, improving the level and quality of patient care and strengthening sanitation and hygiene measures among the population and in the service centers.
He also expressed his gratitude to all doctors and medical workers who are at the forefront of the fight against the infection, noting that the life of each patient depends on the high level of professionalism and skills of doctors.
President Rahmon noted the importance of cooperating with the Republican Commission on Prevention and Fight Against COVID-19 and implementing timely measures to eliminate the shortcomings.
