Over 190 Tajik Citizens Return from Turkey
DUSHANBE, 23.05.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Today, 194 Tajik citizens who were stranded in Turkey due to the cancellation of international flights resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic have been repatriated to Dushanbe.
Per President Emomali Rahmon’s instructions, a decision was made to implement a plan for the phased repatriation of citizens who were abroad when the borders were closed.
The process of returning citizens from will depend on the creation of the necessary conditions, including the availability of appropriate places for quarantine and medical monitoring.
The republican commission assures Tajik citizens that, despite many unprecedented difficulties, all the required measures will be implemented to maintain the health and safety of citizens at home and abroad.
