Citizens Return From Kuwait
DUSHANBE, 11.06.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, per President Emomali Rahmon’s instruction, five citizens who were stranded in Kuwait due to the cancellation of international flights resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic have returned to Dushanbe, reports the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The same flight delivered 15 tonnes of humanitarian aid consisting of medical equipment to Dushanbe for combating COVID-19. The aid was rendered by the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fouad Al Ghanim & Sons Group of Companies Fouad Bin Mohammad Bin Thanyan Al Ghanim.
Earlier on June 5, 22 tonnes of humanitarian aid was delivered by special Kuwaiti airline flights to Dushanbe on behalf of Al Ghanim.
