Republican COVID-19 Prevention Commission Permits Weddings and Flights to Some Countries
DUSHANBE, 17.06.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Today, Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda held a meeting of the Republican COVID-19 Prevention Commission.
The meeting focused on the situation with measures relating to the prevention and transmission of coronavirus and the commission’s further activities.
While considering the stabilization of the situation with the spread of coronavirus in Tajikistan, the commission has decided to temporary permit the organization of weddings for up to 100 people from June 20 and only one event at the place of residence or other service facilities, including restaurants and other venues with obligatory observance of sanitary and hygienic rules.
Also, according to the commission’s decision, international flights to Dubai and Uzbekistan will be allowed from July 1. Passengers must have a medical certificate.
In agreement with the commission, transit and charter flights for the transportation of goods and products on international routes will also be provided.
The commission had also instructed the Civil Aviation Agency to study the issue of organizing flights to Russia, Turkey and China and submit proposals and conclusions.
The commission’s members have been instructed to take urgent measures to prevent the outbreak of the second wave of the coronavirus infection, to reserve and store drugs and disinfectants, as well as to carry out regular disinfection work.
