Khujand Strengthens Preventive Measures Against COVID-19
DUSHANBE, 22.06.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Ten advocacy groups from among representatives of health care institutions, law enforcement agencies, youth organizations, political parties, as well as departments for women and family affairs, and education were created in Khujand in order to carry out preventive and awareness-raising activities aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19.
Every day, representatives of these groups conduct explanatory talks among the population in the markets, outlets, beauty salons, catering places, parks and service centers.
A considerable number of people are detected daily who do not follow the recommendations of doctors and the necessary precautions.
During raids, citizens visiting public places are given free medical masks and memos.
