“Dear Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich,
In connection with the announcement in Kazakhstan of a day of nationwide mourning in memory of the pandemic’s victims I express our sincere condolences to the fraternal people of Kazakhstan with the wishes of a speedy recovery to all those currently battling the illness.
I am confident that the serious measures taken by the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan to prevent the spread of this virus will soon yield desired results.
Tajikistan is deeply concerned about the situation with the coronavirus, which remains extremely tense on a global scale.
The growing threat of the COVID-19 pandemic encourages us to further strengthen solidarity, mutual support and to join efforts to overcome it.
I would like to take this opportunity to emphasize the readiness of the Tajik side to provide possible assistance as well as comprehensive development of strategic partnership between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.»
