Governmental Working Group Inspects Jubilee Facilities in Khorog
DUSHANBE, 15.07.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – While visiting the GBAO, the working group led by the Assistant to the President on Social Development and Public Relations Affairs Abdujabbor Rahmonzoda got acquainted with the progress of creation and improvement works in Khorog.
The working trip began with an examination of the runway at the Khorog Airport, and a new shopping center in the Khorog market called The 20th Anniversary of Independence.
A sewing workshop will also be opened in the territory of the market, where 45 girls and women will be provided with work.
Rahmonzoda also inspected the construction of a road in the Selkhoztekhnika settlement.
In order to reduce traffic congestion, a third bridge over the Gund River is planned to be build soon. According to the project, the bridge will be extend more than 200 meters.
Also in Khorog, the construction Amonatbank State Savings Bank’s 66th branch is underway, with 65% of the work having already been completed.
The working group also got acquainted with the progress of the nearly completed construction of the National Theater, which will seat 1000, and cost 37 million somoni.
Along with this, construction of the building of educational institution No. 8 of Khorog is continuing.
Following the inspection of this object, the working group visited the Pamir Botanical Garden, which is located in one of the highest elevations in the world.
Over the past two years, the Football Federation of Tajikistan has ordered three modern sports grounds in Khorog.
Currently, in accordance with the government’s eight more sports grounds are being bult in Khorog in honor of the next anniversary of state independence.
