Maliksho Nematzoda Elected as Chairman of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions

DUSHANBE, 10.11.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, a meeting of the General Council of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan was held in Dushanbe. The meeting focused on three issues and relevant decisions were made on the considered issues.
The agenda’s first issue was the implementation of the main directions of instructions and indicators, which were presented during the meeting of President Emomali Rahmon on October 24, 2019 and within the election program of the presidential candidate by the Federation of Independent Trade Unions. After its discussion, the work plan for the following years was approved.
The second issue was the draft General Agreement between the Government, the Federation of Independent Trade Unions and the Union of Employers for 2021-2023. After discussion by the General Council’s members, it was approved and submitted to the Government for consideration.
The third issue was the election of the governing body of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions. Maliksho Nematzoda was elected as the Chairman of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions, Ismoil Faizizoda as its First Deputy and Nigora Nazarzoda as Deputy Chairman.
