Tajikistan Receives 1.5 Million Doses of Moderna Vaccine

DUSHANBE, 26.07.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, today Tajikistan received 1.5 million doses of Moderna vaccine produced by the American company Moderna as humanitarian aid through the COVAX mechanism and the COVID-19 equitable dose distribution program.
It is expected that the accepted vaccine will be delivered to the regions, cities and districts according to the plan, after which vaccination will begin.
Approximately 750,000 citizens will be vaccinated with the American vaccine.
