Over 500 Media Representatives Accredited to Cover Second Dushanbe Water Conference

DUSHANBE, 06.06.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The Second High-Level International Conference dedicated to the International Decade for Action «Water for Sustainable Development 2018-2028» entitled «Promoting action and partnerships in the field of water resources at the local, national, regional and global levels» will be held from June 6- through June 9, 2022 in Dushanbe.
More than 500 local and foreign media representatives are accredited to cover the conference.
A secretariat consisting of 11 people was created at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan to assist journalists to cover the event. About 2,000 foreign guests are registered, who confirmed their participation, including representatives of foreign media.
The conference, organized by the Tajikistan in cooperation with the UN and other partners, will serve as the focal point for the UN Conference on the Medium Term Water Decade (New York, March 22-24, 2023).
