Customs Service: Tajikistan’s Foreign Trade Turnover Growth by 25.1% In 2022

DUSHANBE, 15.02.2023 /NIAT «Khovar»/. The foreign trade turnover of Tajikistan in 2022 amounted to $7512.9 million, which is $1508.2 million or 25.1% more than compared in 2021. This was said today at a press conference of the Customs Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
“Imports of goods amounted to $5182.9 million, which is $965.1 million or 22.9% more than in 2021. In turn, exports amounted to $2,330.0 million, which is $543.2 million, or 30.4% more than compared in 2021,” said at the press conference.
Trade turnover with neighboring countries amounted to $3,887.0 million, or 51.7% of foreign trade turnover, having increased by $761.2 million, or 25.9%, compared to 2021. In particular, exports amounted to $1,567.5 million and imports to $2,058.5 million. Exports increased by $352.8 million, or 33.3%.
Last year, Tajikistan carried out foreign trade activities with 109 states.
