Tajikistan’s Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai Visited by 100,000 Guests

DUSHANBE, 06.11.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The pavilion of Tajikistan at the Expo 2020 Dubai during the first month of the exhibition was visited by more than 100,000 people, reports the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan.
More than 2,500 people visit the pavilion daily, and about 8,500 on weekends and holidays.
The theme of the pavillion is “Water for Sustainable Development.” Visitors have the opportunity to get acquainted with hydropower, water resources, light, food and mining industries, agriculture, urban planning, culture, education, history, tourism, and crafts of Tajikistan. The exhibits are presented in the form of large photographs, models, and videos. Informational and advertising material on the investment climate and tourism potential of Tajikistan are presented in electronic and paper form.
So far over 2.35 million people have visited the expo. About 17% of the visitors are foreign citizens. Most of the visitors are from India, Germany, France, Saudi Arabia, and the UK.
During the first month, 192 countries presented their pavilions. Over 5,600 various events were likewise held within the framework of the expo.
The expo has been held in different countries of the world since 1851.
