USAID Representatives Appreciate Tajikistan’s Global Initiatives on Climate Change and Water

DUSHANBE, 21.02.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The timeliness of the global initiatives of Tajikistan on climate change and water resources was noted during a meeting between the leadership of the Committee for Environmental Protection and representatives of the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
It was considered the implementation of Tajikistan’s nationally determined contribution and biodiversity.
Particular attention was paid to the next initiative of the President Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to declare 2025 the International Year for the Protection of Glaciers, adopted by the UN General Assembly Resolution.
