DUSHANBE, 23.08.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On August 23, the official visit of the Speaker of the National Assembly, Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali to China continued in Hangzhou of Zhejiang Province.

On this day, Rustam Emomali met with the Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of Zhejiang Province Yi Lianhong.

It was noted that thanks to the joint efforts and aspirations of the leaders of the two states, the strategic partnership between Tajikistan and China is constantly being strengthened. Our states are characterized by high-level relations of political, economic, cultural and humanitarian trust.

It was emphasized that inter-parliamentary and inter-party relations take an effective position in this process.

The parties highly appreciated the level of interstate trade and economic cooperation, expressed readiness and interest in the further development of relations between the cities and regions of Tajikistan and China.

The meeting also focused on issues of strengthening cooperation with companies from Zhejiang Province in the agricultural, energy sectors, e-commerce, road construction, tourism, mining and other priority areas.
