DUSHANBE, 16.12.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, sent a telegram of condolences to the Emir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, which reads:
«Your Highness,
We were greatly saddened by the news of the demise of the Emir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
The deceased was a prominent and successful political and public servant and one of the prominent figures in the region and the world.
The deceased will always remain in our memory as a leader who contributed to the development of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Kuwait.
Regarding this heavy loss, on behalf of the Government and the people of Tajikistan, I express my deepest sympathy to the brotherly people of Kuwait, and offer my sincere condolences to the relatives and family of the deceased.
May the Lord grant mercy to the noble deceased and let his abode be paradise.
