Diplomatic Corps in Tajikistan Attended a Landscaping Campaign in Sadriddin Ayni Park

DUSHANBE, 12.03.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On March 9, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin, together with Ambassadors and representatives of the diplomatic corps of Tajikistan, took part in a tree planting campaign in the Sadriddin Ayni park.
«According to our ancient national traditions, along with building your own home and raising children, planting a tree is one of the most noble deeds. That’s why, with the arrival of spring, numerous events are organized dedicated to landscaping different parts of the country,» Muhriddin noted during the event.
Also, the Minister mentioned the government program on greening the country until 2040, based on the instructions given in the annual Message of the President Emomali Rahmon to Supreme Assembly, and noted that Tajikistan is one of the active initiators of resolving important issues in the field of water, ecology and climate change, and such events are the practical embodiment of our actions in solving global problems.
«In this regard, we have invited you, dear friends, to share our joy with you on the eve of the spring holiday and continue the greening of our country,» Muhriddin added.
As part of the event, a flower-laying ceremony was held in front of the monument of the hero of of Tajikistan Sadriddin Ayni.
