Delegation of Tajikistan Attends OIC Summit in Banjul

DUSHANBE, 05.05.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On May 4-5, 2024, the Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was held in Banjul, Republic of Gambia. First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Ismatullo Nasredin led the delegation of Tajikistan and made a speech at this event.
At the Islamic Summit, issues related to the present situation in the OIC countries, especially in Palestine, joint response to modern threats and challenges such as terrorism and extremism, as well as other pressing international issues were discussed.
As a result of the Summit, the Banjul Declaration was adopted.
