DUSHANBE, 05.10.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Honorable Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The President of Uzbekistan sincerely congratulated the Leader of the Nation on his birthday and wished our Head of State good health and new successes in his state activities.

In addition, Honorable Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized the unique contribution of the Leader of the Nation in strengthening the foundations of the statehood of the Tajik people, its influence and position in the international arena and the economic and social development of the country.

In the continuation of the conversation, the sides expressed satisfaction with the current high level of relations between the two countries and discussed the state and prospects of friendly relations, good neighborliness, strategic partnership and alliance between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

Both sides expressed their readiness for the consistent implementation of the agreements reached so far, as well as joint efforts to further enrich the relations between our countries with new practical content.
