DUSHANBE, 13.10.2024 /NIAT Khovar/. On October 13, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, opened the central stadium of Ishkoshim district during his working visit to Badakhshan Mountainous Autonomous Province.
A large sports complex with a football field and other necessary facilities of the industry was built to welcome the great national holiday — 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan at the cost of 20 million somoni on an area of 3 hectares; it has 4 thousand seats.
During construction works, 60% of employees were selected from among the local residents.
On the first and second floors of the facility, there are 30 changing rooms for coaches and athletes, 1 sanitary point, workrooms, sports equipment storage and a medical clinic.
The sports complex has favorable conditions for holding district, regional and national football competitions and training for teenagers and young people.
