On October 13, in continuation of his working visit in the city of Khorugh, Badakhshan Mountainous Autonomous Province, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, visited the stone processing plant of the Limited Liability Company «Pamir Stone» under the name of Badakhshan Stone.

This enterprise was built at the cost of 7 million somoni, and more than 50 people were employed during construction.

The necessary technology from the People’s Republic of China has been installed at the plant for stone processing.

According to the project, the capacity of the enterprise is 20 thousand square meters of stone products per year.

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan was informed that now more than 30 people are provided with permanent jobs and good salaries in the enterprise.

It was also said that in the near future, according to the plan, the number of employees in the enterprise will be increased to 100 people.

The raw materials of the enterprise are provided at the expense of domestic resources, this process will facilitate the presentation of domestically produced products, the preparation of specialists and the improvement of their professional skills.

Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon, during his visit to this enterprise, stated that the activity of this area requires high vision and taste from specialists and craftsmen. Therefore, specialists should constantly improve their knowledge and skills.
