President Emomali Rahmon attended opening of new residential building in Khorugh

DUSHANBE, 13.10.2024 /NIAT Khovar/. On October 13, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, commissioned a 10-storey residential building with a penthouse in the central avenue of Shirinshoh Shohtemur in the city of Khorugh.
The high-rise building was built on the basis of the instructions of the Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon, and its first brick was laid in 2023.
The structure consists of three parts, and with the construction of a high-rise building, the administrative center of the region — city of Khorugh has been added with new beauty.
The high-rise building has 154 spacious apartments, built in accordance with the requirements of the time, and it provides high-quality living conditions.
The residential building was built with the financing of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in the amount of more than 75 million somoni.
56 apartments were presented as a gift by the Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon to residents of Khorugh city and 6 apartments were granted to teachers of Khorugh State University named after Academician Moyonsho Nazarshoev.
The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, presented the keys to the new residential apartments to the families.
The apartments are equipped with kitchens and other household appliances and are a gift of the Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon to the proud people of Khorugh.
More than 300 local builders were employed during the construction of the high-rise building. The happy owners of residential apartments expressed their gratitude to the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon for his continuous support and care.
