The Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Energy” will develop in a new version

DUSHANBE, 16.10.2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The third working meeting on development of the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Energy” (in a new version) took place under the chairmanship of Deputy Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan Manuchehr Safarzod on October 16.
Representatives of the Legal Department of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, ministries and departments, public organizations and the European Union took part in its work.
The purpose of the draft law is to fully regulate modern relations in the energy sector, in particular, the billing system in the country’s power grids. In this context it is envisaged to develop by-laws regulating the technical part of the industry.
At the same time, the working group is developing a draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Energy” (in a new version) in order to fully regulate the energy market of the country, taking into account the establishment of energy companies in the field of production, transmission and distribution of electricity.
It should be reminded that the third working meeting will last three days.
