Dushanbe hosted an event to commemorate the Year of Sustainable Development of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization

DUSHANBE, 19.10.2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On October 18, an event in honor of the Year of Sustainable Development of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization was held at the Center for Friendship and Cooperation of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Tajikistan. This was reported to NIAT “Khovar” by the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The event was organized on the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Tajikistan, which in 2024-2025 chaired the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
At the event, views were exchanged on the ongoing efforts within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization to ensure sustainable development at the national and regional levels. The participants got acquainted with the plans of the Chinese presidency of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization to carry out activities in this direction.
The event included a concert program with the participation of young talents of the Talabsho Sattorov National Conservatory of Tajikistan, a traditional Chinese tea ceremony and an exhibition of Chinese books and calligraphy.
