The Head of state Emomali Rahmon attends opening of boarding school for orphans in Istaravshan

DUSHANBE, 17.11.2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On November 17, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, arrived on a working visit to Sughd Province in order to get acquainted with the living conditions of the people and to stimulate economic, social and cultural development.
The working visit of the Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon began in the city of Istaravshan.
President Emomali Rahmon first opened the educational building and dormitory of the boarding school for orphans and homeless in Istaravshan.
The educational building has a modern design with 16 classrooms equipped with school supplies, and good educational conditions are provided for 520 students.
The activities of electronic and traditional libraries, academic offices and computer classrooms connected to the Internet contribute to the formation of knowledge and spirituality of students.
In total, 20 qualified teachers and trainers will strengthen the knowledge and skills, talents and self-awareness of the students under favorable conditions.
Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon expressed his gratitude to the group of businessmen for providing the conditions of stay and education in Istaravshan boarding school, interpreting their action as a great example of humanity and support for the social policy of the Head of State.
Here, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, remotely opened 4 educational facilities built in the cities and districts of Istravshan, Panjakent and Kuhistoni Mastchoh of Sughd Province.
The foundation of 4 facilities in the field of education, which was opened by the Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon via distance, helps to create more than 100 new jobs and to enroll 2000 students in good conditions for education in two shifts in Sughd Province.
Then the Honorable Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon met with a group of orphaned children and teenagers.
The Head of State presented 120 needy teenagers and young people with clothes, sweets and money, and demanded from them the mastering of science and crafts in accordance with modern times.
