DUSHANBE, 15.08.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On August 15, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe, Honorable Rustam Emomali, inaugurated the Maryam Private Preschool Educational Institution on Lermontov Street in the Sino district of the capital.

It was reported that the new kindergarten building was built as part of the development plan dedicated to the 35th anniversary of state independence and constructive measures taken by the leadership of the Executive Body of State Power of Dushanbe. The construction of the institution began in February 2023 and was built in 16 months in accordance with the requirements of architecture and urban planning by domestic entrepreneur Islomjon Murodov.

During the construction, more than 150 local residents were provided with jobs.

The newly built institution consists of 3 floors and a basement, is designed for 200 children, and provides good conditions for the development of children’s minds, mastering modern knowledge, and engaging them in various interesting games.

All classrooms of the kindergarten are equipped with the necessary equipment, including tables and chairs, and all kinds of children’s toys, and education is conducted in 3 languages: Tajik, Russian, and English.

The new kindergarten employs 30 caregivers and other experienced specialists in the field.

In the courtyard of the kindergarten, 6 gazebos, children’s play areas, figurines of fairy-tale characters, beautiful and eye-catching fountains, and other entertainment facilities have been built, which adds another beauty to the environment of this place. The territory of the institution has also been greened with flowers and ornamental trees.

According to the project, this institution has bedrooms, music, dance, art rooms, as well as a bathroom, a gym and a playground for 10 groups, and was put into use on the eve of the celebration of the 34th anniversary of state independence as a worthy gift to the children of the independence era.

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, while getting acquainted with the created conditions, highly appreciated the quality of the work and stated that preschool education is a very important stage in the development of the intellectual abilities of adolescents.

It was emphasized that the expansion of such patriotic initiatives can play a role in fulfilling the requirements of the National Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period until 2030 regarding the inclusion of as many children as possible in preschool education.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, called the opening of the modern kindergarten a valuable gift and thanked the esteemed entrepreneur for this noble initiative. He called on educators to use favorable conditions to educate children in a spirit of patriotism so that they can make a valuable contribution to the progress of independent Tajikistan in the future.
