President Emomali Rahmon visits agricultural products exhibition in Fayzobod district

DUSHANBE, 30.09.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 30, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, paid a working visit to Fayzobod district to inaugurate a number of facilities for various purposes and get acquainted with the living conditions of the people.
The President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, first visited the exhibition of agricultural products in Fayzobod district, including vegetables, various types of fresh and dried fruits, canned products, legumes, and cereals, which were obtained in autumn, spring and repeated sowing using favorable weather conditions, fertile land, and high-quality seeds.
The Head of State, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, was informed that this year, dehkans in the district, using existing natural opportunities, had increased the area under agricultural crops to 10,214 hectares. Priority has been given to increasing the area under grain crops, legumes, technical crops, potatoes, vegetables, for which the climate of the district is most favorable for their cultivation.
The continuous work of dehkans and compliance with agricultural techniques of cultivation have made it possible to ensure an increase in agricultural production in the Fayzobod district.
As reported, as of September 1, 2025, all forms of farming in the district produced 7,116 tons of potatoes, 7,390 tons of grain, 7,646 tons of fruits, 6,970 tons of vegetables, 155 tons of grapes, 9 tons of legumes, 10,755 tons of milk, 2,156 tons of meat, 53 tons of honey, 2.8 tons of fish and 48 million 375 thousand eggs.
The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the district was continuing to harvest tomatoes, corn, bell peppers, and legumes from repeated sowing on an area of 240 hectares.
The exhibition, which was presented in a very attractive form, was a reflection of the abundant harvest and the rich experience of the hardworking residents of the district in the field of land use.
The products of the women’s and men’s crafts of the district, including various types of bread, flatbread, and cakes, were also a reflection of their hard work in a large form.
The President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, gave instructions and recommendations to the republican and local officials and dehkans of the district to further increase production capacity, harvest without losses, stock up on products for the autumn and winter periods, enlarge the area of gardens and vineyards, and conduct autumn sowing within the specified period using the region’s high-yielding seeds.
