President Emomali Rahmon attended opening of secondary school No. 17 in Bokhtar

On December 25, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, opened Secondary Educational Institution No. 17 in Bokhtar city.
The facility is designed to accommodate 1,240 students in two shifts, and 68 qualified teachers have been employed there.
Child Development Center has been established at the institution in order to provide children with preschool education.
The educational building has 33 fully equipped classrooms, work rooms, an assembly hall with 104 seats, library, canteen, sports hall, and playground, and other auxiliary rooms, and is built in accordance with international requirements. Subject rooms, including physics, chemistry, biology, information technology, and other favorable teaching and learning conditions contribute to improving the level of knowledge of students.
The educational process is based on state sectoral educational programs in Tajik and Russian. Admission of students to the institution is carried out through testing and assessment of knowledge and skills.
The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, instructed those responsible to regularly monitor and analyze the level and quality of education and upbringing, involve teachers in advanced training courses, and take practical measures to develop educational manuals in line with the requirements.
