Industrial Output in Tajikistan Reaches 66.7 Billion Somoni in 2025

DUSHANBE, 03.02.2026 (NIAT Khovar) – Industrial enterprises and private entrepreneurs in Tajikistan produced goods worth 66.726 billion somoni in 2025, Khovar reports citing the Statistical Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The figure represents an increase of 13.3 billion somoni compared to 2024. In comparable prices, industrial production grew by 22.1 percent year-on-year.
Officials attributed the growth primarily to expanded output in key sectors, including the extractive industry, which rose by 36.2 percent, and the manufacturing sector, up 10.5 percent. Significant growth was also recorded in the supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning, which increased by more than 13 percent, as well as in water supply, waste treatment and secondary raw materials, which grew by 22.8 percent.
A total of 3,972 industrial and manufacturing enterprises operated in the country in 2025. These included 362 mining enterprises, 3,437 processing facilities, 72 enterprises in electricity, gas and steam supply, and 101 enterprises in water supply and waste management.
Speaking at a plenary session of the Government on January 23, 2026, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon stated that 400 new industrial enterprises were commissioned in 2025, contributing to sustained growth in industrial production.
