President Emomali Rahmon Meets with Representatives of Leading Chinese Metallurgical Companies

On July 9, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, met in the Bobojon Ghafurov district with representatives of three of the largest metallurgical companies of the People’s Republic of China.
The meeting discussed issues of cooperation in the development of the ferrous metallurgy industry, the production of cement, lime, glass, and the implementation of modern technologies.
It was emphasized that cooperation with such leading world companies, including MMS Capital Engineering and Resource In Corporation, will allow Tajikistan to develop the production of ferrous metallurgy, cement, lime, and glass products using modern technologies, increase exports of industrial products, create jobs, and boost the competitiveness of the national industry.
The meeting also reviewed other issues of interest.
