President Emomali Rahmon Visits Mongolia’s National History Museum During State Visit

DUSHANBE, July 21, 2026 (NIAT Khovar) – On July 21, as part of his state visit to Mongolia, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, visited the National History Museum in Ulaanbaatar.
The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the National Museum opened on October 11, 2022, in the center of Ulaanbaatar.
The museum houses a research library containing 6,000 volumes.
The museum building consists of nine floors, eight of which are dedicated to thematic exhibition halls.
The lower floors of the museum house exhibits dedicated to the ancient peoples who inhabited Mongolia.
The museum is a major research center housing more than 10,400 cultural artifacts.
These exhibits include ancient and archaeological items dating back to the 13th century.
After visiting the National History Museum of Mongolia, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, made an inscription in the book of honorary guests.
