The Presidential School for gifted students—a new-generation educational institution in the Rasht district—was commissioned on September 11 with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon.

The facility was constructed in accordance with the directives and guidance of the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, aimed at improving the educational environment to meet modern standards and requirements.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the new, modern educational building comprises 33 fully equipped classrooms and is designed to accommodate 800 gifted students.

Computer classrooms connected to the Internet facilitate access to diverse educational resources and the study of modern sciences.

To support the mastery of exact sciences, classrooms for chemistry, biology, and physics, as well as laboratories, have been equipped with essential educational apparatus and materials, playing a vital role in the students’ acquisition of both theoretical and practical knowledge. Facilities such as classrooms for vocational training and basic military training, teachers’ offices, a 400-seat assembly hall, a spacious canteen, a sports hall, a sports ground, and other necessary infrastructure create a solid foundation for vocational learning, the hosting of gatherings and meetings, and student engagement in sports like football, volleyball, and basketball.

With the commissioning of the Presidential School for Gifted Students in the Rasht district, more than 60 teachers have secured employment with good salaries.

Additionally, to provide accommodation for students from other districts in the region, two separate dormitory buildings—one for girls and one for boys—have been constructed on the premises. These dormitories feature modern amenities and have a capacity of 350 students.

During a conversation with the institution’s officials and teaching staff, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, instructed them to utilize the available facilities and opportunities to prioritize enhancing students’ knowledge and skills, while fostering a spirit of patriotism and respect for national values. The inauguration of new educational facilities during the celebrations of a major national event—the 35th anniversary of State Independence—was hailed as a fitting gift for the students and teachers of the Rasht district and a testament to the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan’s commitment to strengthening the knowledge and intellect of the nation’s future generation.
