President Emomali Rahmon Inaugurates Eight Facilities in Farkhor District

During his working visit to Farkhor district, on October 4, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, remotely inaugurated eight facilities of various purposes and reviewed the project for the modernization of the Guliston–Farkhor road.
The first facility remotely inaugurated in the district was the administrative building of the Farkhor rural community in Oriyon village.

This important administrative facility provides favorable working conditions for community employees and enables them to deliver quality services to local residents. The building was constructed according to a modern architectural design and is equipped with the necessary amenities.

Another facility remotely inaugurated was the administrative building of the Food Safety Center in Farkhor district. This important sectoral facility was constructed to implement the instructions and directives of President Emomali Rahmon concerning national food security and improving the quality of monitoring agricultural and food products. The new building includes spacious offices and modern laboratories equipped with advanced specialized equipment and modern monitoring technologies.

President Emomali Rahmon also remotely commissioned an additional educational building at Secondary School No. 45 in Dusti village of Farkhor rural community. The new building is designed to accommodate 480 students in two shifts and will help eliminate the shortage of classroom space at the school. The facility has been equipped with conditions that meet modern educational requirements.

Another education-sector facility remotely commissioned by the Leader of the Nation was an additional educational building at Secondary School No. 48 in Murodbakhsh village of Istiqlol rural community.

The new educational building can accommodate 384 students in two shifts. With the commissioning of the additional building, students will continue their education in modern and improved conditions.

Subsequently, President Emomali Rahmon remotely commissioned a sports hall, a covered sports ground, and an assembly hall in Bobosafol village of Gulshan rural community. The new facilities were constructed as part of development and improvement initiatives in preparation for the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. They are expected to encourage local residents, particularly young people and adolescents, to engage in sports and adopt a healthy lifestyle.

Two health centers in Khuroson and Darqad villages of Farkhor district were also remotely commissioned by President Emomali Rahmon. These healthcare facilities were constructed as part of development and improvement measures dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and will help improve the level and quality of medical services provided to rural residents. The health centers are designed for receiving patients, conducting medical examinations, performing preliminary diagnoses, providing primary medical care, and carrying out other necessary medical services.

At the same location, the Head of State reviewed the project for the construction of the Guliston–Farkhor highway, which will be 29.6 kilometers long and 12 meters wide. The road is considered important for the development of freight and passenger transportation, cross-border trade, and tourism. President Emomali Rahmon instructed the responsible authorities to ensure high-quality construction work and complete the project within the deadline.

President Emomali Rahmon also commissioned 109 kilometers of paved inter-village roads in Farkhor district. These roads were paved by local entrepreneurs and patriotic residents as part of preparations for the 35th anniversary of State Independence. Supporting the constructive policies of the Head of State, residents have contributed to the district’s development and improvement efforts by paving roads connecting the villages.

The facilities remotely commissioned during President Emomali Rahmon’s working visit to Farkhor district are expected to contribute to the creation of new jobs, improvement of the quality of services provided to the population, and, overall, the economic and social development of the district.
