On October 24, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, visited the city of Vahdat to familiarize himself with the living conditions of the population and inaugurate several celebratory facilities.

First, President Emomali Rahmon officially opened the Lormed Diagnostic and Treatment Center in Vahdat.

The new healthcare facility was built by entrepreneur Sulaymon Aliev. It has a capacity of 25 beds and is equipped with facilities to provide diagnostic and treatment services.

As reported, the Lormed Diagnostic and Treatment Center has created 25 jobs, employing knowledgeable and experienced young professionals.

Equipment for diagnostic procedures and surgery was imported from Russia, South Korea, Japan, and China, enabling the center to provide medical services in line with established requirements.

The facility includes a laboratory, X-ray rooms, a physiotherapy room, a dressing room, an injection room, and doctors’ offices.

Two classrooms have also been provided for short-term training courses for citizens and initiatives aimed at improving the population’s medical knowledge.

During his conversation with the staff, President Emomali Rahmon emphasized that creating appropriate conditions and improving healthcare services are essential for disease prevention, timely diagnosis, and prompt treatment of patients.

Solar panels have been installed at the center to provide it with electricity.

Landscaping and lighting works along the internationally significant Dushanbe–Vahdat–Rasht–Kyrgyz Republic border highway have further enhanced the appearance of the Lormed Diagnostic and Treatment Center.

It was also reported that, as part of the Government’s continued attention to and support for the healthcare sector, 21 small and large medical facilities have been built in Vahdat over the past five years, while 13 rural health centers have been renovated.
