Telephone conversation with the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani
A telephone conversation between the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani was held today.
The telephone conversation was organized at the initiative of the Afghan side.
During the telephone conversation the heads of the friendly and neighbouring countries congratulated each other and the peoples of the two countries on the occasion of the International Navruz holiday.
The current state and prospects of further development of multifaceted relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, as well as important regional and international issues were discussed.
In this regard, the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon invited Muhammad Ashraf Ghani to visit Tajikistan on an official visit and to take part in the ceremony of start of construction works of CASA-1000 project, which is of great regional importance.
Afghan President accepted the invitation to visit Tajikistan on an official visit.
