Independence – our great and sacred national holiday!
Dushanbe, 19.04.2016 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Independence, along with the fact that is an old dream of our people, is considered the period of comprehension and analysis of responsibility of each citizen concerning honoring of history and creative activities for the sake of the present and future destiny of our beloved Motherland. Namely this high sense of responsibility for the past, present and future of the Motherland and the nation forces each of us diligently, faithfully and amicably to work for the sake of prosperity and stability of the country, to be always vigilant for the protection of the national and state interests in order to adequately fulfill our duty before the Motherland and the people of Tajikistan.
For 25 years of independence, Tajikistan has achieved a number of fundamental successes directly related to the future destiny of our independent state. Our most important achievement of this period is to ensure peace and stability, the salvation of our national statehood from disappearance, our people — from dissociation.
Without absolute independence, without the free state the historical aspirations and dreams of the nation, purposes and programmes of present and future generations will lose their meaning.
Therefore, Independence is the highest value, freedom, creation, improvement, our great and sacred national holiday!
