A. Smagulov: “Trade and economic relations of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan are developing, although the global crisis has caused the decrease in turnover”
Dushanbe. 29.01.2015. (NIAT “Khovar”). — Prospects of development of business relations between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan have been discussed by the Chairman of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan Sharif Said and Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Tajikistan Agybay Smagulov.
According to CCI of Tajikistan, A. Smagulov noted that trade-economic relations of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan are developing, although the global crisis has led to the decrease in turnover. The Ambassador thanked the leadership of CCI of Tajikistan for their support and cooperation in carrying out the four business forums of the two countries, as a result of which were signed contracts worth over 60 million USD.
The interlocutors have also discussed the issues of attracting investments into the economy of Tajikistan and expansion of cooperation at the regional level.
