GGP project completed at Dushanbe central clinic №10
Dushanbe, 04.02.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). — On February 4th, 2016, Ms. Chie Tamura, Charge d’Affaires of Japan in the Republic of Tajikistan, attended the handover ceremony for the GGP project: “The Project for Provision of Medical Equipment to Central Clinic №10 of Dushanbe city”.
The ceremony was held to commemorate the successful completion of the project that was funded by the Government of Japan through its scheme of “Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP)”.
The ceremony was attended by the head of the clinic Mr. Sabzali Murodov as well as representative of Central Health department- Mr. Bobokhon Ismatovich.
For the realization of the project, USD 99,882 was provided to the Central Clinic №10 of Sino District, Dushanbe City. As the clinic that is located in the heart of the capital city, it provides healthcare services to the residents of the district, which has the population of over 78,000. Some of the clinic’s patients even include those who live outside the Sino District.
During her speech at the handover ceremony, Ms. Tamura remarked that the GGP projects demonstrate the friendship and cooperation between the people of the Republic of Tajikistan and the people of Japan. Mr Sabzali Murodov expressed his gratitude for support of creating improved environment benefiting all the patients and workers of the hospital.
