PM Qohir Rasulzoda meets with group of IMF representatives
Dushanbe, 05.02.2016. (NIAT «Khovar»). – Today, Tajikistan’s Prime Minister Qohir Rasulzoda has met with a group of representatives of the International Monetary Fund and the Executive Director of the Fund for Tajikistan Daniel Heller in Dushanbe.
At the meeting the current state and prospects of bilateral relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the International Monetary Fund were discussed.
As it was noted, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan is interested in the strengthening of development of cooperation with the International Monetary Fund in the fields of banking, economy, finance and the private sector, and within the framework of cooperation with the large financial regional and world institutions and organizations implemented effective measures for the stability of economic and financial situation in the country.
A group of IMF representatives, in turn, expressed its readiness to conduct economic consultations with the economic delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan and to provide financial and technical assistance to Tajikistan, especially in conditions of instability of the economic situation in the region and the world.
