Promotion of the initiative of Tajikistan discussed in New York
A working meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov with the members of the Steering Committee of the Water Friends Group, in particular with Ádám Zoltán Kovács, Deputy State Secretary for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, as well as with permanent representatives of Switzerland, Finland, and Thailand to the UN took place in New-York on February 25.
According to the Tajik MFA Information Department, the global water agenda issues, including the issue of promotion of the new initiative by the Republic of Tajikistan on proclamation of the International Decade “Water for Sustainable Development” have been discussed.
