Tajikistan — Russia agreed on the delivery of agricultural products
Dushanbe, 18.02.2016. (NIAT «Khovar»). — The forum of business circles of Tajikistan and the Russian Federation on the organization issues of delivery of agricultural products was held in Moscow.
The Ambassador of Tajikistan in Russia Imomuddin Sattorov, speaking before the participants of the forum, noted that Russia’s share in foreign trade turnover of Tajikistan in 2015 exceeded 25 percent and our countries have additional sources to increase trade turnover at the expense of fruits and vegetables from Tajikistan.
During the forum, Tajikistan’s possibilities on the delivery of agricultural products, including dried fruits, as well as the difficulties and challenges on the way to delivery of products from the field to a specific Russian consumer were noted.
In the final part of the forum the ceremony of signing the Memorandum on cooperation between the national associations of the parties took place, which was signed by the Chairman of the Council of Union of private sector development of Tajikistan F. Rajabov and Executive Director of the National Association of wholesale-distribution centers V. Lishuk.
