Tajikistan’s economy in 2016 will grow by 7%
Dushanbe, 01.02.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). – “In 2016, according to the macroeconomic indicators the country’s economy has to grow by 7%. Due to the launch of large enterprises in the free economic zone “Dangara”, as well as in Yovon, Hissar and Bobojon Gafurov districts GDP will increase ”, — reported to NIAT “Khovar” the Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Jamshed Nurmahmadzoda.
“This year, under the favorable weather conditions are predicted the increasing of production of agricultural and industrial products, on which macroeconomic indicators of the country are based. It should be noted that this indicator will be influenced by both the change in price for oil and the food in the world”, — he added.
“In this regard, the bank is ready to provide its customers with loans for the development of agricultural sector and industry that will contribute to the increasing of products and GDP growth”, — noted J. Nurmahmadzoda.
We will remind that at the beginning of this year the World Bank predicted the growth of the world economy, including Tajikistan’s economy in 2016 by 4.2%, 4.8% and 5.5 %.
