Deputy Tajik foreign minister, Afghan Ambassador discussed preparations for the Brussels Conference on Afghanistan
The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Nizomiddin Zohidi has met with Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Abdulghafour Arezou and Deputy Head of European Union Delegation to the Republic of Tajikistan Margus Solnson.
According to the Tajik MFA Information Department, during the meeting, they reportedly conveyed to Zohidi a join invitation latter by the President of the European Council Donald Tusk and the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani addressed to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Tajik Nation, Emomali Rahmon.
President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon is invited to participate in the International Ministerial Conference on Afghanistan, which will be held on October 2016 in Brussels.
The Conference will discuss issues related to the international community’s financial support to Afghanistan to build a self – reliant and developing society in Afghanistan.
The invitation was accepted with gratitude.
