MoD of Afghanistan: 50 militants killed, 44 wounded in Afghan army-led operations
Dushanbe, 03.03.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). — Over 50 militants were killed and 44 others were wounded during counterterrorism operations led by the Afghan National Army (ANA) forces. Khaama Press reports with reference to the statement of the Ministry of Defense (MoD) of Afghanistan.
According to MoD of Afghanistan, the operations were conducted during the past 24 hours in various provinces of this country where at least 11 militants were also arrested. Several weapons, ammunition and explosives were confiscated by Afghan security forces during the same operations.
