OIC extraordinary summit in Jakarta concludes with the participation of the Tajik delegation
The Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Fifth Extraordinary Summit, at which the Tajik Foreign Minister Aslov took part, concluded here on Monday.
On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Foreign minister Aslov has delivered a speech and extended a stance of Tajikistan regarding the topic of the Summit.
According to the Tajik MFA Information Department, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan in his speech has supported efforts of the Government and the people of Palestine to achieve international recognition and called upon peaceful settlement of existing disputes based on the norms of international law.
The fifth Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Extraordinary Summit concluded on Monday as all country members approved the «Jakarta Declaration» resulted from the two-day high-level talks.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Aslov reportedly held meeting with his Malaysian counterpart Dato’ Sri Anifah Hj. Aman.
The parties have discussed a various fields of bilateral cooperation and touched upon the process of implementation of agreements concluded during the high and highest level visits.
The two ministers have also exchanged their views on strengthening cooperation within the framework of the UN and other international and regional organizations.
